Here we go!
We have three steps we’ll need to complete

To Freeze your credit, we’ll need to complete the following steps with each of the three credit agencies. The entire process takes about 15 minutes. Please write down each User ID and password that you may establish with each of the three credit agencies during the process. It’s critical that you confirm that your credit has been, in fact, frozen by all three companies when we’re done. Each company has their own rules so, let's get started.

Step 1

Let's close your credit with Experian™.
Experian™ allows you to choose a security pin that you can use for turning your credit back on, only when you need to use it. Please take this additional step and WRITE DOWN the pin you chose. This link will open a new page so PLEASE COME BACK to our page after you’ve completed Experian™. Let’s Go;

Remember, after you've completed the steps with Experian™, please come back so we can guide you through step two with TransUnion™.

Step 2

Thanks for coming back. Let's freeze your credit with TransUnion™.
TransUnion™ requires that you set up a free account using their True Identity product. Please write down the User ID and password you’ll establish. You’ll then have the ability to Lock your credit by clicking on a “Lock” tab clearly listed on their Dashboard labeled “TransUnion Credit Lock”. If it’s green and displays “Unlock” then you’ve frozen your credit with TransUnion. We’ll want you to sign back in to your account and reconfirm that the “Lock” tab was correctly clicked on. Don’t forget, please come back to our page so we can finish the final stage. It’s important that we close all three Agencies. Clicking on the link below will open another window.

Step 3

Final stage; Equifax™.
Please read below before you get started.

Equifax requires that you answer credit related questions during their online process. If you fail their credit questions related to your “past credit history”, you’d need to mail in a request with a few required documents. If you don’t have such a great memory, call their automated system instead. It’s best that you write down the information below, just in case you fail their online process.
